Dr. Xinge Diana Zhang is an expert in bioengineering with significant contributions in enzyme evolution and protein engineering. She completed her Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Harvard University under the mentorship of Prof. David A. Weitz. Her doctoral research advanced the field of ultrahigh-throughput directed enzyme evolution using droplet-based microfluidics, resulting in multiple patents and publications in journals such as Angewandte Chemie and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

At B.A.I. Biosciences, Diana leads the development of novel molecules and delivery systems for medical and cosmetic dermatological applications. Her passion for entrepreneurship drives her continuous exploration of new ways to bridge scientific innovation with the industry, aiming to develop products that are safe and effective. Diana also serves as an Editorial Board Member of Regenerative Medicine Reports.

Prior to her Ph.D. at Harvard, Diana obtained a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Southern California.
